Deep Creek, New Years Eve 2025
Deep Creek was a great place for NYE. No fireworks!
I setup this shot again, after removing my Swiss army knife and lens cap, but of course I couldn’t replicate the composition or the lighting.
A nice sunset.
The next night I tried to capture a time-lapse of the sunset, but not only was the sunset less spectacular, the wind blew my phone from its vantage point.
Found a tree with extensive damage from wood borers. I initially thought this was human-carved graffiti, as the “2” looks remarkably like an Arabic numeral.
